Dear Praying Friends:

Once again we greet you by letter realizing that another month has slipped by and we are that much closer to eternity. The times we live in are serious times and what we do for the Lord Jesus Christ must be done now. May He find us faithful at His appearing.

We here at Cedar Ridge felt your prayers as we visited Baltimore on the 15th of July. Three days before we were to go, the head of the State Welfare, Children's Division, called and talked for awhile and said he did not think he would accept a formal application for a license from us on the fifteenth. Our conference lasted one and one-half hours in Baltimore and before we left he sent for the application and filled it out; we signed and were on our way. The Jewish member of our board, Mr. Kaplan, summed it up when he said, "surely the Lord was with us." God answers prayer.

Please continue to pray for Cedar Ridge, that this place might be established as a testimony to the Lord whom we serve.

Pray as thousands of tracts will be handed out at the Hagerstown Fair, the week of August 13th. We are thankful He says His Word will not return unto Him void.

Surely we have been blessed as we visited with many of you here at Cedar Ridge this past month, with the Gorden DeRidders, Lambert Lubbers, Edward Boeves, Mom and Dad Drooger, and the Jay Schaaps. Some stayed awhile; while others were just passing through. We appreciated each one

. Our recreational area is being used by many young people and we feel it is a real opportunity to minister to them on occasions. Everyone has a good time with different games that are provided.

Our thanks for your monthly financial support and mostly your prayers. To each of you who has written, we appreciate the letters and promise to answer each as time permits. Our prayers are with you and Pastor Pyke daily.

Your Ambassadors for Christ,

Jack and Doris Drooger
