Dear Praying Friends:

I John 4:4, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

Just a brief note to bring you up to date on the Cedar Ridge Children's Home. The children are home for the summer and two are attending summer school and will go to outdoor camp in the Cotactan Mountains for ten days.

Bobbie has been discharged and returned to his own home. Since last month's letter we have three new boys: Buddy, 8; Steven, 10; and Harry, 12. These boys present a variety of problems. Pray much for them as they adjust and for the staff, as we deal with them, that our lives may reveal the love of Christ: the Droogers, Yoders, the cook, Miss Petre, and relief cook, Miss Hostetter (who also helps with the Monday wash), and the new social workers, Mr. Harnish, and Miss Kelly. Continue to pray much for new houseparents. We have had interested couples, but nothing definite yet.

We enjoyed a brief stopover with Mr. and Mrs. Stratsma and Mrs. Wandscheer recently and enjoyed a few days with the Gerald Glupker family. We enjoy these visits with friends and it keeps us in touch with the church.

We will be sending our second issue of the Cedar Ridge News soon. We hope there will be enough for a copy for each family.

We appreciate your prayers on behalf of Jack's father and are glad he can be home. May God continue to bless you in the work of Immanuel, your branch work, and your interest in the work here.

Your Ambassadors for Him,

Jack and Doris Drooger and family
